Forest’s dedication to public safety began long before his professional career. He graduated from Sam Houston State University in 1992, earning his degree in Law Enforcement and Political Science. Finishing in the top 2% of his college class, Forest demonstrated academic excellence and a passion for law enforcement that carried through his entire career.
His education provided the foundation for a lifetime of leadership, training, and service—values that he continues to uphold through his professional and community roles.
Rockport-Fulton High School Alum
Before college, Forest attended Rockport-Fulton High School, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was also active in theater, an experience that strengthened his confidence, communication skills, and ability to connect with others—traits that later became essential in his law enforcement career.
